Description
Triakis semifasciata Girard, 1855.
Leopard Shark. To 2.13 m (7 ft) TL (Eschmeyer and Herald 1983). Samish Bay, Washington (48°37.2’N, 122°28.1’W) (Farrer 2009) to Mazatlán, Mexico (Miller and Lea 1972), including Gulf of California (Eschmeyer and Herald 1983), and Isla Guadalupe, central Baja California (Reyes-Bonilla et al. 2010). Depth: intertidal to 156 m (515 ft) (min.: Carlisle et al. 1960; max.: Mary Yoklavich, pers. comm. to M.L.).
