Coronarctus stylisetus n. sp. (Renaud-Mornant 1987a)
Terra typica: Atlantic Ocean (USA, North America)
Atlantic Ocean:
• 61°17′42′′N, 08°32′18′′W; 249–260 m bsl: [FAO27] Faroe Islands, Faroe Bank, shell gravel, coarse shell gravel, carbonate fine sand, carbonate sand, or fine shell sand. Hansen et al. (2001)
• 34°07′3N, 75°57′7W/ 34°07′N, 75°58′W; 439 m bsl: [FAO31] Type Locality: USA, off North Carolina coast, Station RHI 834/”RV Eastward cruise 1974 Sta. 24302, sediment sample. Renaud-Mornant (1987a)
Record numbers (Sea/Ocean classification): Atlantic Ocean: 2; total: 2.
Record numbers (FAO classification): FAO27: 1, FAO31: 1; total: 2.
Remarks: Known only from two Atlantic localities (North Carolina, USA and more recently Faroe Bank, Faroe Islands), this species has been reported from relatively shallow depths in comparison with other Coronarctus taxa.
