TERRANOVA THE EUROPEAN LANDSCAPE LEARNING INITIATIVE

Welcome to TERRANOVA THE EUROPEAN LANDSCAPE LEARNING INITIATIVE, an Innovative Training Network consortium looking at climate change, human-environment interactions, and environmental policies in Europe. In 2019-2023, 15 PhD students will be conducting interdisciplinary research within these topics.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 813904. The outputs compiled in this Zenodo community reflect the views only of the authors, and the European Union cannot be held responsible for any use, which may be made of the information contained therein.

TERRANOVA is an MSCA-ITN-ETN – European Training Network.

The goal is to train a new generation of creative and innovative researchers, able to convert knowledge and ideas into products and services for economic and social benefit in the Union.

Key activities shall be to provide excellent and innovative training to early-stage researchers at the post-graduate level through interdisciplinary projects, including mentoring to transfer knowledge and experience between researchers or doctoral programmes, helping researchers to develop their research career and involving universities, research institutions, research infrastructures, businesses, SMEs and other socio-economic groups from the different Member States, associated countries and/or third countries. This will improve career prospects for young post-graduate researchers in both the public and private sectors.
