SFB 1330 Hearing Acoustics

The Collaborative Research Centre (Sonderforschungsbereich) SFB 1330 "Hearing Acoustics: Perceptive Principles, Algorithms and Applications" (HAPPAA for short) has set itself the goal of exploring the principles of speech communication in detail and of promoting the communication skills of the population due to improved hearing aids. The SFB is funded by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG) for initially four years (2018-2022).
