SEISMEC Community accepts the following project outputs: scientific publications, research data, software, reports, deliverables, presentations, and newsletters generated in the project SEISMEC.   

All records, regardless of the type, should have metadata detailed filled according to the instructions. The maximum size of a record is 50GB. Reports, deliverables, presentations, and newsletters are uploaded, managed, and reviewed by AUSTRALO. Scientific publications, research data, and software are uploaded by researchers and reviewed by a designated community curator. The specific requirements for those are as follows:  

Scientific publications – all uploaded publications should be deposited under the same DOI and include a funding statement of the SEISMEC project and the funder: “Funded by the European Union under SEISMEC, grant agreements No 101135884 . Views and opinions expressed are, however, those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or HaDEA. Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible for them.” Any research data or software underlying the scientific publication must be deposited on the date of the publication. 

Software each code associated with a scientific publication and published on GitHub should be linked to the SEISMEC Community, following the Zenodo/GitHub integration instructions.   

Research data – data package must comply with ethical standards (e.g. informed consent), privacy regulations (GDPR)and contractual and data agreements. In addition, it must follow best practices outlined in SEISMEC Data Management Plan (DMP). Exemplary data package: EUR publication package. If your dataset qualifies to be published under restricted access, contact SEISMEC Data Steward.    

 

Prior notice of any planned scientific publication including associated research data or software shall be given to the other Parties at least 20 calendar days before the publication. Any objection to the planned publication shall be made in accordance with the Grant Agreement by written notice to the Coordinator and to the Party or Parties proposing the dissemination within 30 calendar days after receipt of the notice. If no objection is made within the time limit stated above, the publication is permitted.
