These research papers were developed in response to a tender from the Department of Education (Ireland) in advance of the development of a new National Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy Strategy. The papers, which cover literacy (including digital literacy), numeracy, assessment, diversity and inclusion, continuing professional development, and family and community. All papers were authored by staff with links to Dublin City University. Where possible, the papers are based on published systematic reviews of the topics under study. Each paper comprises a summary and recommendations, as well as a review of the research.
Only papers produced for the National Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy Strategy study are accepted for publication.
