LaboraTe (Land Lab) is member of Te-Bio, a research group of the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) where the land in comprehensive sense, and specially rural land and territories, are the principal subject of interest.
We work on spatial planning and sustainable development, approaching from different areas like policies, institutions and territorial governance, land use and land tenure dynamics, rural development, geospatial information technologies or cooperation for development.
The group has its roots in the Land Laboratory and the Biodiversity Laboratory, born in 1995 in the Campus of Lugo and that joined forces in 2000.
