Geo-Soft Models (UMR ESPACE)

The aim of the Geo-Soft Models project is to create a freely accessible and editable computer code base under the Creative Commons 4.0 license. It follows the desire of the geographers at UMR ESPACE to contribute to the movement of open access science, using research tools in spatial analysis: models and data. R-Geo-Soft Models thus contains models based on artificial intelligence and soft computing developed on the R and Python platforms for the purposes of geographic analysis. These models, currently prototypes, have been produced by UMR ESPACE researchers and collaborators for various research projects. They have the particularity of investigating a relatively emerging field of computational applications : data mining, machine learning, uncertainty and the interface between quantitative and qualitative methods. The models are accompanied by datasets allowing to reproduce the analyses produced by their authors and appeared in their related scientific publications.
