About the Deutsche Geophysikalische Gesellschaft (DGG) Community
This Zenodo community hosts the official scientific contributions of the German Geophysical Society (Deutsche Geophysikalische Gesellschaft e.V., DGG), including conference abstracts, final programs, and selected supplementary materials related to the annual Symposium and other DGG-endorsed events.
The objective of the German Geophysical Society (DGG) is to advance and disseminate geophysical knowledge in research, teaching, and applied practice.
The DGG addresses all individuals and institutions interested in geophysics, regardless of nationality or place of residence. It currently has around 1,200 members from more than 35 countries.

It provides a platform for the dissemination of geophysical knowledge.

It represents the scientific interests of geophysics in national and international committees.

It promotes the exchange of experience and cooperation among geophysicists and fosters interdisciplinary contacts.

The DGG is a founding member and supporting organization of the GeoUnion – Alfred Wegener Foundation and a member of the DVGeo. The DGG pursues its objectives in close cooperation with the Forschungskollegium Physik des Erdkörpers e.V. (FKPE), founded in 1964, an association of leading representatives of geophysical institutions and corresponding industry partners.
