Fighting Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)

AVANT is a multi-actor inter-sectorial project aimed at developing alternatives to antimicrobials for the management of bacterial infections in pigs, especially diarrhoea during the weaning period, as the major indication for antimicrobial use in livestock in Europe.

This community is under construction, but provides a space for future sharing of antimicrobial resistance (AMR)-related material .

Curation policy:

As for now, this community is only for project partners of H2020 AVANT - Alternatives to Veterinary ANTimicrobials. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No. 862829.

By the end of the project, it is expected that the community will be open to the AMR scientific and industrial community in order to share and promote synergies with relevant stakeholders.
