Read moreThe CLEX Code Collection accepts any data contribution from CLEX researchers, students and collaborators which is relevant to climate science.
We will accept only data which is licensed with an open access license. The aim of this collection is to share data for the community benefit, which is also in line with ARC open access recommendations. However, it is possible to apply an embargo period to the record or in exceptional circumstances having closed access.
We can accept data already registered in another repository as long as this does not break the other repository rules. In such cases we will use the other repository DOI and where applicable the original metadata records as the main reference.
Our definition of data includes:
any data generated as a result of scientific analysis of another dataset
any data associated with a journal publication
We will not accept:
Data which is a variation of an existing dataset but does not add substantial value to the original (see also authorship policy)
subset of existing datasets
Data which is poorly described, we do expect wherever reasonable that the data follows community standards and conventions. We also ask contributors to provide a reasonable clear and detailed description of the data to facilitate reuse (see Guidance for contributors)
We are using Zenodo as a platform so it is also important that your submission satisfies the Zenodo policies.
