Curation policy:

This repository accepts Author Accepted Manuscripts (AAM, also known as "Post-print") from Aerospace Journals. An AMM is the version of the manuscript as accepted for publication. This includes any amendments suggested as a result of the peer review process. Text and graphics of the AMM are identical with the Version of Record (VoR, also known as "Publisher PDF"). The AMM will differ in most cases significantly in layout and typesetting from the VoR. Nevertheless, typesetting has to be up to acceptable standards.

By requesting inclusion into this repository, the contributor confirms,

  1. the upload is an Author Accepted Manuscripts (AAM) and has as such gone through a peer review proces,
  2. the upload is in agreement with any contract signed with the publisher.

Related to 1.) Appearance of a paper in this community is not a tacit approval of the paper's assumptions, methods, or conclusions.

Related to 2.) The curator reserves the right to check on SHERPA RoMEO ( if publisher requirements are met. SHERPA RoMEO is an online resource, collecting publisher Open Access policies.

The upload to Zenodo should

  1. include the DOI to the Version of Record and all of the relevant metadata (name of authors, article title, abstract, journal name, volume, issue, etc.),
  2. include a Creative Commons License to their work. It is appreciated, if the contributor opts for a open license (e.g. CC BY) rather than a more restricted one (e.g. CC BY-NC-ND)

It is currently not intended to collect Gold or Hybrid Open Access articles. These articles are already accessible online and are usually well indexed, so that another upload or listing may not provide an additional benefit to the aerospace community.

Disclaimer: Papers will be entered in this community in order of receipt on an impartial basis. The right is reserved to reject submissions without discussing the reason for the rejection.
