Grandjean et al.: 'Identifying the critical turbidity threshold to maintain estuarine tidal flats worldwide'

These files include the data and scripts used to create figure in the manuscript, organized as follows:

Shapefiles - Contains all shapefiles used to select the Areas of Interest (AOI).
Digital Elevation Models - Folder contains the code to develop Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) per estuary, variables and settings for root and file names need to be adapted up to user convenience, as well as worldtides API id.
Turbidity Concentration - Folder contains the code to calculate the turbidity per time period for all estuaries of which DEMs are present. Variables and settings for root and file names need to be adapted up to user convenience, as well as worldtides API id.
Dispersion-Turbidity trend - Folder contains the code to calculate the dispersion and trend per estuary.
Hypsometric Integral - Folder contains the code to calculate the hypsometric integral for all estuaries. Variables and settings for root and file names need to be adapted up to user convenience.
Accuracy - This folder contains all information to calculate the DEM accuracy for the Western and Eastern Scheldt in the Netherlands, as demonstrated in the manuscript.
TidalRangeData-Fig5.csv - Data used to provide Supplementary Figure 5.
