Metadata for Evernia_Apothecia.csv
This file contains chlorophyll fluorescence and associated data for Evernia mesomorpha from transplants in the SPRUCE experiment (see Smith et al. 2018). Chlorophyll fluorescence data was collected using a Walz red-light IMAGING-PAM m-series chlorophyll fluorometer (Walz, Effeltrich, Germany). Saturating pulse intensity was 3,700 μmol m-2 s-1. Thalli were allowed 2 min to relax in the dark before applying actinic light (set to a PAR of 700 μmol m-2 s-1) at a working distance of 22.5 cm. ImagingWinGigE v2.56p software was used to operate the IMAGING-PAM. The maximum efficiency of dark-adapted PSII was automatically calculated by ImagingWinGigE as Fv/Fm= (Fm-F0)/Fm.  Thallus active areas were measured using the same software.
Thallus areas were measured from photographs processed in ImageJ 2.0
