E.P. is going to be called PostScript PS and basically it's going to sort of be the PostScript of a person's life.
We're settled down too close to one another, too close to one another, and then I'm gone forever.
Some had just gone, I said to myself, I just really want to make an E.P.
So my initial starting point was from the song I'd previously recorded from the year before.
So I started doing that. I sort of wrote the songs, but at the same time I was also producing them.
So I would sit here in my little cave here, and as I would write I would also record onto my computer.
And I would build the song up that way, because since being a college I've also been a bigger electronic producer.
So I thought to myself, why not try and incorporate the two?
The story behind the E.P. there's a whole bunch of stories behind the E.P. I think.
It initially started with a song I wrote about a year ago, year and a half ago, and I sort of recorded a demo of it.
And I really liked the sound of it.
So when I came to decide that I wanted to do a full E.P., six track E.P., I said to myself,
I think this is a good starting point, I think this could be my sound.
Quite personal songs, songs that people can relate to, stuff that you don't always see in everyday life.
So someone might put a face on, but truth is when they get home they might be really upset about something.
And the E.P. sort of, about that.
And the sun will shine for you
So still we may enjoy you
Cause this won't last forever
But our hearts will be bound together
Here we are, here we are, this is where we ended up
Somewhere warm, somewhere safe and better off without their pain
Cause to learn how to stop moving it up again
So I'll wait for the time that's right
And the sun will shine for you
So still we may enjoy you
Cause this won't last forever
This E.P., I hope, sort of cement me as an artist in the music industry
And people look at the E.P. and go, ah, that's who Luke Target is
And then hopefully what I can do is I can take that out on tour
And people come see me, people will like it
And I guess it's to just keep working up, you know, if I get a deal from it, great, if I don't, not worry, I'll just move on to my next project.
Oh, hey
