I've always wanted to wrestle. I just didn't know how to get into it. I enjoy, you know,
the energy that the fans give me every time that I go out there. It's just like I turn
into a whole different person. And my whole goal of wrestling now is to, you know, please
use the crowd. When it comes to wrestling, you know, you're putting your body on a line.
You have to be ready and prepared to know that at any given moment, anything can happen.
Anything can go wrong. Like a lot of people in this business, they say, it's not if you're
going to get hurt, it's when you're going to get hurt. The physicality of it is serious.
Wrestling, you know, isn't fake. The general public, I don't think that a lot of them
know that this isn't a trampoline that we're on right now. Under the padding in this canvas
is wood. And under that wood is metal. You know, everybody is saying, oh, it's fake
because you're bumping on the trampoline. No, it's not. It hurts. We're literally taking
our own bumps. We're doing our own stunts. So a lot of people, they don't, I don't think
they know that that's what we're doing. They're thinking, oh, they're just going out there
choreographing a match. And, you know, that's all it is or, you know, not really hitting
each other. Yes, me and my matches, you're getting hit.
I think people like wrestling because it's like a soap opera, so to speak. You know,
you have your storylines, you have your good guys, you have your bad guys. And I think
people enjoy watching that. They come out and they pay for us. You know, they're putting
money in our pocket. And in return, you know, we're giving them a show. Like it's not every
day that you can say somebody is paying to see me wrestle or somebody is paying to see
me do something. So if they're using their hard earned money to come and see me, then
I'm going to make sure that they get their money's worth.
You have to be very humble, humble. You got to be humble because it's going to be a lot
of things that people say to you that you won't like. You know, you just say thank you,
you know, and keep it moving. The next aspect is respect. You know, when you walk into a
locker room, you look somebody in their eyes and you shake their hand. You have to be dedicated
in order to be a wrestler because you have to be that professional and professional wrestler.
My family, the way that they look at me, you know, they love the fact that I'm following
my dream and not only following my dream, but I'm, you know, managing everything that
I'm doing, you know, just because I'm following my dream, it's not stopping me from being
a father. It's not stopping me from being a husband. It's not stopping me from being
a son. You know, I make sure that I always keep my family first. Even though, you know,
wrestling is my passion, my family comes first. You know, a lot of the wrestler's goals is
to go to WWE, but if I don't, you know, I would want to wrestle in Japan, maybe like
possibly ROH. One thing that I'll share, like just for the people who are looking to be
wrestlers, be ready to learn and to put your body on the line and be dedicated because
this isn't an easy business to be a part of and you have to be dedicated. You have to
be professional.
