Wrestling is theater with kicks, sometimes tables, ladders and chairs.
I've attended a lot of shows with my brother.
Most times they were at the garden.
They were fun.
My favorite match of all time would have to be Ricky the Dragon steamboat versus Macho
man Randy Savage.
Ricky the Dragon steamboat coming in is the Dragon and then you know you counter that
with Macho man who had the over the top personality.
He was exciting and intense all the time.
The cream of the crop.
Nobody does it better.
And just the rivalry was insane.
It was awesome.
And then when you finally go to an event, it's such an insane rush, feeling like it's
unbelievable.
It's exciting.
It's fun.
My father took me to the Continental Airlines Arena in New Jersey.
Tito Santana gave me a high five.
Just thought to myself, why not?
I could do that.
You know, the dream was born.
I didn't know how to become a professional wrestler.
As I got older, I realized like, you know, there's ways to get into it.
I do a lot of physical training.
I do personal training in New Jersey 40s a week.
It's a high intensity, a lot of functional movements, a lot of weights and doing everything
that I can to better myself, make my body better, more durable, stronger.
I go to the gym and I put the work in.
I'm trying to get the next level.
Training is an individual sport, but with that said, when you're putting in the training,
it's a team effort.
Because you want everybody to do well.
So if I have to help mentor somebody and coach them up a little bit, I have no problem
doing that.
It's nice to help other people, which goes to me being a police officer.
I like to help people.
Police officer by day or pro wrestler by night.
So cool.
That was true.
I have always wanted to be the God.
When I was young, I wanted to be the God.
Something that I know and thought I'd be good at.
The idea of being able to help people that couldn't help themselves, being able to go
into situations that other people can't, I'm here if you need me.
I try to talk to everybody just to let them know that we're human.
Staten Island is a very friendly place, a lot of family, family oriented.
I've made great relationships out there with different people.
The heroin off Staten Island is a serious problem.
We have a heroin epidemic.
I've seen some bad things happening to people that I know, that other people know, family,
friends know.
I read the people last week and there was something like nine ODs in a week.
And pretty sure that they were all fatal, which means nine families now have nine separate
funerals to prepare for.
It's heartbreaking.
Too many young people have shortened lives because of what's going on.
And it doesn't necessarily mean that they have to die.
I know a lot of families do go out of their way and try their hardest to help whoever their
family member is or friend, get clean or get better, get the help that they're looking
for.
And there was nothing more that they could do to help that person.
It's tough to look at when you see grandparents outliving their grandkids because of a drug,
because of this disease.
Everyone's doing their part to try to stop this.
I'll help you.
I'll take you to the place myself.
Just ask me.
I'll put you in the car and drive you there when I want to, at work.
What else do you want me to talk about?
Want me to talk about wrestling?
It takes time.
Wrestling is important.
And there's a lot that goes into it.
But you need to have charisma.
You need to have athleticism.
You have to be able to go out there and just be fearless.
It's such an unbelievable experience to be able to do something that I love to do.
I represent wrestling and more enforcement in a positive light.
I get very good feedback from fans about me being able to be a cop and do wrestling.
And they love the fact that I tie it over to one.
They always say thank you.
They always say they appreciate what I do in and out of the ring.
And it's something that's very nice to hear.
When you have a goal or a dream, there's always going to be obstacles.
You're going to have something like age or circumstance.
There is no age on a dream or a goal.
You always go for it no matter what.
And you don't let anybody stop you.
You have one life, do what you're meant to do on the first.
Do what you're meant to do on the first.
