I
We're getting my race car tuned tonight.
We switched from 110 octane to E85 ethanol.
I'm here at Youngblood's Hot Rods at FMP tuned and Jesse Voll is tuning my car.
It's going to be great.
We're going to have just a little bit more horsepower, not much.
We're just trying to keep it reliable for the track.
So not a whole lot of crazy horsepower, but we're going to have some fun with it and see
what we can do with the new fuel.
All right, so it's the new MAP sensor they put on this 3.5 bar, but it's messed up.
It's reading spiking intermittent voltage going from 0 to 2 to 3 to down to 1, even though
voltage-wise it's consistent and it should be an even and consistent curve.
So with that going up and down, we're seeing the fueling and timing and everything else
just go all over the place.
So we'll get that swapped out and go again.
No, everything else is awesome, all this is is that it relies so heavily on this sensor
that if this sensor goes out, then it throws everything off.
Throw that in, it'll be fine.
Or if you can't get this exact one, a 3.5 bar will work.
I think I have to readjust the load tables as well.
My expectations are to last the whole season with no issues.
I expect a solid car to run and to be able to make every event with little to no problems.
So I'm looking forward to that.
While Subaru's at the track seem comfortable in the 3 to 400 horsepower range and we're
going to put it at high threes and see how it feels and I think it'll be perfect for
the track.
We were at low threes last year and I think the added extra will be exactly what I need.
So I'm excited to see what can do.
Let's get it!
