The overhanded French braid.
Comb through your client's hair.
Make sure the hair is free of tangles.
Let's begin.
Cut the hair divided into three sections.
The left hand side, the middle, and the right hand side.
Of course, hold the hair in between your pointer finger and your middle finger.
What we're going to do is transfer the hair from side to side.
We're going to twist the left hand side, grab the hair underneath, bring it to the right
hand side.
Grab that on the left hand side, we're going to twist it on the right hand side, grab that
hair underneath, and bring it to the left hand side.
When you have this loose hair here, this free hair, what you're going to do is grab it from
the side you're working on.
Twist the left hand side, grab the hair underneath, and bring it over to the right.
Grab the hair, twist the right hand side, grab the hair underneath, and bring it over to
the left.
That's exactly what we're going to do.
Let's begin.
Grab the hair, divide it into three sections, two, three, okay.
Twist the left hand side underneath, bring it over to the right, get your loose hair
over here, hold it, twist the right hand side, grab the hair underneath, bring it over to
the left hand side, grab the hair on the right hand side, add it to your existing hair, twist
the left hand side, grab the hair underneath here, see, bring it over to the right hand
side, remaining hair here.
Get loose hair to the existing hair, okay, hold it, twist the right hand side, grab that
hair underneath, bring it over to the left hand side, and we're going to continue to
do that.
You can use all of your fingers to divide the hair and section the hair if you need to.
You can always use your thumb to keep the hair in place.
Grab the hair, twist, move the hair underneath, grab the hair, twist, twist, and then once
you get good at it, you'll be able to go faster.
With the overhanded fringe braid, the hair is actually moving over your hands, on top
of your hands here, and then the braid will appear to be on top of the hair.
Braiding until you reach the end.
You may secure the end of the braid with a hair tie or a rubber band.
Reach it comb and smooth the hair into the braid.
You have now created an overhanded fringe braid.
Add the fringes to your hair.
