Welcome to Look Right, the only show that's ever laid an egg.
This week Andy and I are once again off in the...
Not again!
Oh there it is.
It's out! Remember that time? Okay.
In Lithuania you always remember.
Oh, be enough to keep my mind off you.
Pavilion everybody doesn't last too long.
The senior fills I hear your voice in every network.
Sit kind, or cast stroke, theme song.
Can you see my face?
My expression's erased.
Who's talking at length?
I wanna feel my face.
I wanna feel, I want it through this city.
Hello. Hi.
And welcome. Welcome to Lithuania.
We're in Vilnius, the capital city of this wonderful little country.
And right now we are on the top of Geta Minis hill. Geta Minimis.
46 meters tall. 46 meters tall. There you go.
Facts at the top of it is that guy, which is one of the remaining towers of the higher castle, as they called it.
And yeah, the rest of it's kind of gone.
From here you can see basically everything, right?
Lots of things to see.
Lots of things to see.
Lots of cool churches and other cool churches and different kinds of cool churches.
And churches.
I forgot about the churches.
Excuse me.
I forgot about the churches.
Holy Mother of God, or at least I think that's where we think we are, I don't know.
This might be the church of the Holy Mother of God.
We're not entirely sure because everything's in Russian and we can't read it.
But Holy Mother of God, it's a cool, lipid new church, right?
I'm in front of, way for it, the Cathedral of St. Stanislas and Laudislas.
The cathedral stands on a former pagan temple site, permanently constructed in 1387 along
with the country's official Christian conversion.
So back here we have the church of St. Catherine and you know, there's no one more qualified
to talk about this church than someone named Catherine, burned down about four times and
they ended up with this.
It's pretty cool, isn't it?
Yeah, I should probably find out what I have to do today.
Good work, good work, good work, good work, good work, good work, good work, good work,
good work, good work.
I need my Sunday list.
That's weird.
Guess I'm taking the day off.
Hey, we are in Trikai right now which is just a short bus ride away from Vilnius, adorable
little town.
There's only about 7,000 people here and it's right in the middle of this lakes region,
national park area and it's absolutely gorgeous.
Cute little colorful shanty houses, an island castle, also a tiny horse.
What did you say?
There is a tiny horse here.
You say tiny horse?
Like a little tiny horse?
Oh my god.
It's like nubbin feet.
A few interesting facts about the island castle, everything, absolutely everything.
It was a prominent military fortress for the Lithuanians during the medieval times.
That was until the 17th century wars with Russia where it was almost completely destroyed.
But then ironically the Soviets actually rebuilt it during the 1950s and 60s and that's kind
of backwards right because they want to like be Soviets and ruin stuff.
But I think even they looked at that and they said we need to fix that up because that's
badass.
Am I forgetting something?
What?
Am I forgetting something?
What could you have forgotten?
Did I lock the doors?
Yeah.
Turn off all the lights, I guess so.
What about the garage door?
That's it.
That's not it, I don't even have a garage.
Well then what could you have forgotten?
Breakfast!
This is our last day in Vilnius and it's really sad.
We literally just walked out of our hostel after checking out and we found a common market.
It's like totally, totally surprise market and it's...
So we're going to go look at it, maybe buy something, yeah.
After we figured out that it was actually a festival and not a market, we had to figure
out whether or not the food was free.
It was.
Got some fish, stolen fish, but it's actually really good, smoked Lithuanian fish, yes please.
Not only was it free, but just about everyone there treated everyone else like a guest in
their own homes, offering endless food to try, including this mystery mammal.
So don't get me wrong, I like meat of unknown providence.
If Kate and I were to try to decipher what this festival market is about, it seems to
be some kind of a hunter's fishing game sort of party.
There's a lot of food and it's all free and most of it still looks like the animal that
it was very recently.
I'm sorry, I know I overdrew my account, you know, I'm sorry about that, can I just
get like an advance for like $5,000, that's all I need, just $5,000, go ahead, G-O-T-O-V-I-L
and oh my god, go to Vilnius.
