I get a little bored.
I get a little bored in painting sometimes.
Sticking to one medium is a little bit hard for me. I love to mix it up.
Sometimes I feel like a rectangular flat surface just doesn't do it for me.
I always want to bend a wall and then the painting is different from every point of view and you bend something like that.
One of my favorite places in the universe is actually Lincoln Park. It's just home.
I never feel so at home anywhere else except for if I get to have all those elements around me at once.
I'm a very happy person with very simple needs.
I just need a little swing and a little rock climbing to make me happy.
I tend to look at the broader picture and really zoom out.
And then with my added, drawn figures and natural elements incorporated on the surface of the map,
I get to do a micro, macro scale at the same time and I feel like they push and pull on each other.
They fight for dominance sometimes, which I feel is a huge part of humans have this continuous idea
that we are the dominant species and that makes us entitled.
And a lot of my work is asking people to simplify themselves.
Thank you very much.
