Tra Tredemugello is born with a great goal,
which is to make the whole world know
about this beautiful area and all its beauties.
It is born with the aim of making people know about it,
but in the end it is also born with the aim of knowing
that the fundamental thing of the trail runner,
which is that of aggregation.
I'm a trail runner, I love mountaineering,
and I like running uphill.
It is the second year that I come here,
because I am well in this place,
the volunteers love the race,
they feel the race,
and the whole nature is something wonderful.
The fatigue is nothing compared to what gives you the nature,
to feel the own steps,
to climb the trees,
to see certain panoramas,
the crinals,
it is wonderful.
The volunteers here feel the race,
they live the race,
and it is nice to see their smiles from every place,
and to try to change them,
as much as it is the hard and difficult effort,
it is always nice to see certain emotions
and to feel that people love this place,
and to feel that they also love the trail runner.
Let's go!
My first volunteer experience was on Ultra Trail,
and it was an extraordinary event for me,
but I changed my life.
I really saw these people
face this adventure,
to be at their disposal,
to make them enjoy this journey and make them more light,
in a way, with a smile, giving them help.
For us, it's a fabulous experience.
I think that whoever does it, makes it with the heart,
and then it becomes quite spontaneous,
because everyone participates in this event,
anyway, wanting to bring something to themselves
and wanting to give something to others.
That's why it's easier to confront them,
because we're actually on the same level,
there's no difficulty in this aspect.
For me, it was a personal and extraordinary experience,
because there was a change in my life.
We had a certain age, I met him four years ago,
and we didn't do sports.
I saw that these people were running in all ages,
in all situations,
and I said to myself, why not run?
Why do these people make this incredible effort
and really transmit an enthusiasm to do this sport?
That's why I started running,
but I was allowed to see some of the tricks of the race,
which helped me to do it, to take part in volunteer work,
and to get to know even more what I could have found.
More than anything else, this is the human part,
because it gives you courage, a smile,
and it really gives you a different kind of energy.
That's why you need to get to the finish line,
feel the strength, a smile, courage, strength,
and that really conveys a great stimulus to you.
My name is Steve Lampo, and I'm born in Singapore,
but I live with my husband in Brisbane, in Australia.
Basically, I'm an ultra-trail runner.
I like to do the longer races.
I can go for very long, so this is 60 kilometres,
it's ideal, and it's great.
Number one in the forest, it is beautiful,
but also it's a big challenge for yourself.
And when you're out there to do these long races,
a lot of the times you discover more about yourself,
you know more about yourself as a person,
what kind of person you are.
You know yourself more.
What surprised us right away, since the first edition,
was the response of the city of Nansa.
And today, on the fourth edition,
we have the beauty of 270 volunteers.
What surprised us was the fact that we had such a strong response,
such an incredible response, and with such great enthusiasm.
They are more motivated than we are,
and have been waiting for this race for a year or two,
with an incredible enthusiasm.
We can say, without a doubt, that the spirit that pushes and gives heart and strength to this race is the volunteers.
Thanks to them, this race is special.
Yes, this territory is beautiful,
but there is no doubt that there are beautiful and fascinating territories around Italy
and around the world where you can race.
But to race at the Ultra-Ted de Mugello has a peculiarity
that will find not only forests, forests,
wonderful trails, but also people with great hearts.
And this is our source of pride, our volunteers.
This is our source of pride, our volunteers.
Discovery used in 20 seconds the LOS T-Dress.
This is our source of pride, our volunteers.
This is our source of pride, our volunteers.
This is our source of pride.
This is our source of pride.
