Login is the largest innovation and technology festival in the Baltic states and up until
now actually we have been calling ourselves a conference but now we realize that the event
is getting way too big to be called a conference and that's why we decided to call ourselves
a festival. We are organizing it for the 10th time in a row so this year is our anniversary
and what is happening at the event in general is actually a couple of different parts so of
course we do have the conference part which is by far the largest all the speeches, keynotes,
discussions, presentations which are going on. Next to that we also have a large login startup
fair which we organize of course together with Enterprise Lithuania who work very much with
the startup ecosystem in Lithuania and the Baltic states and so in the startup fair you can see
a lot of startups both national and international here then pitching the ideas to the investors
you can also kind of touch and experience their products and also in the same area you can find
the hardware district with all the makers movement and all the things which you can try to build
actually and put together. In addition we do have the login game fest and login game fest is
an event basically for gamers and for everybody who is interested in game development, programming
videos, things like that. Together with TEO we are organizing TEO Business Summit at login
and this is an exclusive event for the C-level personnel basically and an event offering exclusive
networking opportunities as well as some exclusive content. Every year we have approximately
I would say 12 to 15 percent attendees from abroad and yes most of the foreigners they come from the
Baltic states but also we do have guests from Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Scandinavian
countries as well as Germany and some people from further away for example someone from
Spain, Portugal, the United States etc. For every startup I think one of the most important things
is to get the attention of the investors and very often it takes a lot of time and energy and also
money to reach out to the investors one by one. What they can do and what they are able to do at
login startup fair actually they're able to meet large numbers of the investors at the same time
and so I believe this year we have brought approximately 70 investors or Enterprise Lithuania
supported and helped us brought 70 investors to the same venue so if a startup actually agrees or
decides to attend the login startup fair then they have the perfect opportunity to get all these
investors attention in the same place so it's yeah of course they do have to pay a certain amount
of money but they save a lot of time and a lot of money to fly to the meetings and you know talk
to the investors because what they can do here they not only have this opportunity to pitch the
ideas to the investors they also have the possibility to attend these so-called matchmaking
sessions and one-on-one meetings so if how everything is organized is for example if a
startup wants to meet an investor they often want to meet everybody but the startup approaches us
and tells us that okay I would like to talk to these investors and then the investors say that
okay I would like to talk to this startup this startup and this startup and etc then they are
matched and it means that when the startup and the investor meet they are already both interested
in in each other right so it's not only the investor listening to the startup for because
of simply being polite but the investor listening to the startup because they actually interested
in that startup so it brings every startup closer to actually getting an investment I mean not only
regarding to the people who are coming from abroad but also for the Lithuanian startups it's very
important to meet investors not only from the country or from the Baltics for example but
from all the other different places and in fact this matchmaking is one of the largest parts
of the startup fair because these things you know what we see over there the booths and the pitches
and stuff like that these are accessible for everyone but the matchmaking meetings they are only
designed to those startups and those investors who want to meet so they are a little bit exclusive
I would say and yeah they occupy a lot of time and energy of enterprise Lithuania colleagues to
put everything together it's important to know that comparing to many many other tech conferences
login is really cheap so the price is attractive login startup fair is free for the people to attend
so that's as we say it's our contribution to the society right we don't want the event to be exclusive
for somebody who has a lot of money and can pay a couple of hundred euros for a ticket we want to
have the event open to young people students who do not have the money but they might have a lot of
ideas and we want to give them this kind of empowerment to you know to attend the conference
and the different parts so yeah the real wish and the and the greeting to the audience would be to
come and join us at plug in 2017
