We're really thrilled that Bridget and Harman wanted to have their wedding right here in
our little country town.
You know, when you grow up as a member of a farm family, it's not just a way to make
a living, it's a way of life.
It takes everybody and the family working together to keep things going, and over the
years we've managed to do just that.
When Bridget and Harman first started looking at different wedding venues, they looked all
over the Seattle area and, you know, one more beautiful place than the next, but, you know,
nothing really meant anything in particular to either of them, so it was Harman who actually
said to Bridget one day, he said, you know, Bridget, your parents have had a pretty successful
marriage.
What if we got married in the same church they did in Colton, and Bridget told me later,
she said, you know, mom, that almost made me cry when he said that, and, anyway, all
I can say is that you could all be so lucky to get a son-in-law who would be that thoughtful
to think of something like that, so we're truly blessed, thank you Harman.
It's good to be, it feels good to be, it's good to be, it's good to be, it's good to be.
It's a great day for you, Harman and Bridget.
And for your families and friends who have traveled long distances, some of them, and
of course, for God.
On behalf of the Catholic Church, the Diocese of Spokane, and the State of Washington, it
is an honor and a joy as I introduce you for the first time, Mr. Andesus.
You may now kiss the bone.
When I see you guys together, it's just such an
amazing, powerful connection.
The moment I met Bridget, I realized that you guys were meant to be, and I know a lot
of people here, we all came out, you know, quite away from everywhere, you know, a couple
of us got a couple speeding tickets on the way here.
And so, but you know, that's a real testament of how much everyone cares about you, you
guys together, and I know Harman, you picked me to be the best man, but I think everyone
can attest here that you are the best man to us, so cheers to the happy couple.
I love you guys, thank you.
