Hi, I'm Chino Roque, and I'm currently a student pilot.
Most people know me as the first Filipino astronaut.
But aside from that, I love playing football and I coach CrossFit.
What's up, guys? My name is Eli Aguinaldo.
I am a model and a host by profession.
I want Asia's favorite model at Asia Model Festival in Seoul, South Korea
and also, Canada's Philippine Fashion Week's Model of the Year in Toronto.
I'm gonna have a photo shoot.
You guys could be guiding me on how to get that LA magic in front of the camera.
I'm still a bit nervous. Let's do this.
Dude, you don't have to be awkward, man.
You aren't really good.
He'll just take care of you, man. Just be confident.
Okay, I'll do my best. Thanks, man.
All right, bro. See you later.
So, basically, today, we're gonna do three different layouts.
Speciality ko anong maginawan na me LA before.
So, we're excited.
I'll do my best.
Let's go. Let's have fun.
Okay, open your mouth a bit.
Relax, chill down.
Can't na na.
At the count of three, close your eyes.
One, two, three.
Good.
Like it?
Good.
You can move around.
So, like that?
Yeah.
Ayaw ka tumawa.
Okay.
So, the last challenge with Bjorn was, I'd say,
honest, it was a challenge.
It was hard to express myself in terms of to-stay photos.
Let loose.
Man, you're all right now, bro.
Without smiling.
Like, louder.
So, try mo as serious as you can.
Sayon.
We're good.
We're good mo na?
Yeah.
It's not easy.
Trying to be creative with different poses
is really more than just a skill.
Major props to LA.
Of course, Chinno was a bit nervous
but at that time, eventually,
you were able to find a good fashion shot of Chinno.
And I'm really happy because it made my job easy.
So, probably in the next few shoots
from EODS, good as LA.
We're actually in Chinno's aviation school
and I'll be switching places with him today.
Chinno is actually a pilot by profession
so I'm gonna fly a plane.
Dude, I'm so nervous, man.
I can't tell me the plane was that small.
Enjoy the view and be in the moment.
Can't cry, man.
See you later, bro.
Take care.
Good luck.
Let's go.
So, he got to see a lot of beautiful scenery
when we were up there.
We got to see mountains, lakes.
We saw it in a different perspective.
It's really different when you see up top.
We were guided today by Captain Sherwin.
At first, I was nervous
to say I wasn't really used to all the free flight checks.
LA did very well on his first time.
I learned to fly also and he was really excited.
I just thought to calm down, relax
and then, visually, everything is okay.
And after that, we landed at Clark safely.
All right, guys.
So today, we're done with this challenge.
On to the next.
Let's do it.
Let's do it now.
We rented out this modeling studio
and Brent Avere, a good friend of LA,
will be guiding me on this ramp right here.
LA, kamusta?
I know you have inner swag.
Just show them your confidence.
Just enjoy the shoot, man.
Right. Thanks, LA.
Bye, man.
See you later, bro.
So, you've done the flight simulator, I'm sure.
Now, it's your turn to try the ramp simulator.
You ready?
So, for each outfit,
you actually only have 30 seconds to change.
Are you ready?
I want you to smile big.
That's the direction of the director.
Well, for the ramp challenge,
whoa.
Time's ticking.
You got 30 seconds to change it to your next outfit.
Everything just escalated really quickly.
Five seconds.
From learning how to walk the ramp.
You have the director right now screaming at you.
In a real show, you got to go out
no matter how you are already.
To basically taking my shirt off.
So, what happens in sometimes in fashion shows
is they make you go shirtless.
So, you will not be wearing a sandal.
You'll be doing this last one, shirtless.
Yes.
Here you go.
Rock it out.
Going to space, man.
You should be ready for anything.
So, at any given point.
At step up.
Pull it off with the confidence.
All right.
That's fine.
That was like the first time you ever did it.
Good job, Chino.
You have passed the ramp simulator.
Thank you.
Good job, man.
Honestly, Chino did really well.
I've been doing this for a long time
and he's done better than some of the models
that are just starting.
This at the end of the day
is just something else thing that he conquered.
We are here at Chino's CrossFit Gym
and I'm going to try CrossFit for today.
We actually have a coach that will help us
and guide us through each and every step of CrossFit.
I'm pumped up.
So, let's do it.
Face your breathing.
Maintain good form.
You're in good hands.
All right, dude.
I'll try my best, man.
All right, Eli.
So, this is going to be your typical strongman.
I got you down for ten minutes.
All right, three, two, one.
Let's go.
Get this done.
It was pretty challenging, actually.
What got me through the exercise rigorous excitement
because it's my first time to do all of this.
And five, perfect.
Get that sledgehammer.
Today, I did what Chino usually does in his life.
It's not that easy,
but I guess you find thrill also in the difficulty.
All right, this is how it becomes strong.
Eli, come on.
Push, push, push, push, push.
And last one.
Here we go.
Good job.
Three minutes and 35 seconds.
Good job.
I think he did fantastic.
I think he's got a future in CrossFit.
Definitely, maybe we're not talking games here,
but definitely as a workout,
we've got a lot of potential.
The fact that he was just eager to try new things,
we'll take him a long way in CrossFit.
My general impression about Chino's lifestyle is,
you know, he's a pilot.
It's not easy to fly a plane.
Obviously, you need hours and hours of, you know,
studying and flying.
Eli's lifestyle is very different from mine.
In everything that you do,
you have to keep an open mind,
whether it may be flying a plane,
walking the ramp.
You've got to back it up with some focus
and some swag into it, like what I learned today.
But at the same time, it's fun
because you find a challenge out of it.
You continue to want to make yourself achieve more.
