As far as Friday Night Entertainment goes, Liverpool and Chelsea possess just what's
required for a lively evening under the lights. Match win is aplenty, but it was Felipe Coutinho
that sparkled brightest in last year's contest at the bridge. But now the boy from Brazil
has company. He was a second half substitute as Liverpool's forwards tore Champions Leicester
City apart last week. In the early stages of the season, perhaps no one has caught the
eye more than Sadio Mane.
Liverpool already have nine goals this season, only Manchester City have more. Coutinho
scored a brace in the 4-3 win at Arsenal and already has last season's tally of 15 in
his sights.
But in terms of a goal threat, danger lurks in the opposition ranks. Aiden Hazard has
an excellent goal scoring record against Liverpool, and Coutinho knows plenty about his fellow
team. David Luiz has also been seen as dangerous in his time, but not always for the right
reasons. With Chelsea captain John Terry out injured, the Brazilian will make his second
debut for the club, with Coutinho aiming to make it an unhappy homecoming.
