Music, it's everything, you know, you do the shows, you do the street, you do...
I think to just get my music out there further...
It's just become enjoyable to do.
It's a pretty natural feeling, I feel like myself completely.
It's part of the night scene, you feel party after a while.
It's good when people give you positive feedback.
When people come up and tell me I've made their day...
Because masking can be very hard.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, so...
All good.
Surviving, you know, paying the bills and...
If I can do that, then I'm very happy to play my music.
Where am I from?
I'm from Sydney, I'm a Sydney.
I was born in Sydney, I was actually born in Rudy Hill.
When I was a kid it was a bush there, there wasn't much housing.
And you sit and play your guitar.
I do a lot of jobs.
I do private functions, corporate work, weddings.
I have been playing in clubs.
I do festivals from time to time, guitar festivals and stuff like that.
I meet a lot of interesting people.
It's great.
Musicians in particular and just...
A lot of them are very nice.
No, it's lovely.
I like to meet people, it's great, yeah.
Basking can be very hard.
The hardest audience to play to because you never know what they want to listen to.
Most people are busy and they go past very quickly.
There's a case where some people are awake for a bus
and I do my best to try and play something that's not repetitive for them.
They can be critical of it, you know, they can listen to what you're doing
and then compare it to what they've heard
and think, oh, that's not good enough or whatever.
Most people just go past and get sniffed at something they recognise.
And it's a bit of a difference.
Some people are just friendly and they go, oh, that sounds good.
Even if they don't.
Something that's cool. All good.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, so all good.
How do I feel when I bus?
It's so enjoyable to do.
Pretty natural feeling.
I feel like myself completely, I guess,
and yeah, it's just fun to take music to the streets.
When I'm playing, I've made their day and they smile.
That's it.
People give you positive feedback.
It's a kick, you know, and that keeps you going.
Yeah, I'm surviving.
It's not an easy life.
You know, you try to do something nice.
I actually nearly got thrown in jail the other day
for playing music in the street.
It's a funny world.
It's a funny world.
So, yeah, it's very sad, but hopefully things will get better.
You know, so actually next year I'll be going to Europe.
There is a bit more culture there, so...
Yeah, I keep going, yeah.
And the wheels just keep on turning
and the drummer begins to drum.
I don't know which way I'm going.
I don't know what I've become.
Hold my hand inside your hands.
I need someone who understands.
I need someone, someone who hears.
For you I've waited all these years.
For you I'd wait.
To kingdom come.
To my day.
My day is done.
Say you'll come
and set me free.
Say you'll wait.
You'll wait for me.
Say you'll wait.
You'll wait for me.
Say you'll wait.
You'll wait for me.
Thank you for watching.
