All we're trying to do is promote skating and to have fun, that's why we're not trying
to separate people from pros to amateurs or to the guy that's learning the first kickflip.
It's up, it's rules, we're lying to Shiburi, the face of crowned lifestyle. To be honest,
it's not like start off as a joke, like we're amongst skaters, amongst friends. We just
wanted to promote skating and we just wanted to have fun and just let skaters skate because
there's no way else we can. Cape Town is what's happening for the industry.
Tony the rules are, it's the same as the barracks, so it's no feet on the ground, no
complies, no hand puns, no illnesses, no garage, last minute against two tries, a face of toe
drag against two do-overs, the face of toe drag is inside my mind. If the trick is popped,
say like a big slipper, if it's popped, you have to pop it as well. Lucas Pallidoro been
skating for about 14 years. That's a bunch of skaters doing their event, that's a bunch
of skaters entering the event, that's a bunch of skaters placing the event. For that matter
is when something happens, everyone will show up to it.
Guys that are on skating are running the skate companies and they have no understanding
of what actually the culture means to us. When we did this event, we had 50 rand when
we started. People from Mitchell's plane watch, people from Google's watch, like random
cats, people from town, everyone came together. If you want to have fun, no fights, no arguments,
just pure fun and to be accepted as a family, skateboarding as a family, that's what we
are, we skaters and we want everyone to be a part of it.
