You
Before I started my journey with Parkour, I did a full ride and downhill with my bike.
Then I saw this Parkour and I was totally impressed how you can move your body
without any help like a bike or a skateboard.
I only used my body and my spirit.
I used to turn. Since my childhood I have turned.
With time it was too boring.
You can't let your own ideas flow into the movement.
I just looked for something new that would fill me up.
When I started my journey with Parkour, I was very weak, scared and unconscious.
I started with Parkour because my friends wanted to do it too.
Everyone did great things and I was always like, I'm scared, I don't dream.
But over the years I realized that my abilities really lie down.
At the beginning I realized that I was extremely afraid of heights.
Through this Parkour, through this training that you do all the time, you learn to know your body better.
You can just do the movement you want to do.
You can play with the devices, with the obstacles.
You can try new things.
There is no limit to where you control all the movements.
You can always find new things.
It will never be boring.
I saw Parkour for the first time five years ago.
After the first one to two years of training, we realized that we had to invest more time.
We had to work more seriously.
But at that point in time, it started to be fun.
When you realized how much I put in, I got it back.
Whenever I start training, I can completely forget my daily problems.
They are like bled out.
I come to training and it's like a different world.
You get to know yourself better.
You become more confident with the things you do.
You also learn to deal with the environment very differently.
You don't suddenly see obstacles.
You see obstacles over obstacles.
In normal Parkour groups, it is very important that the people help each other.
Everyone has their own goals in Parkour.
Everyone wants to achieve other things.
Basically, it is about becoming stronger in the group.
The people I train with have become some of my best friends.
Because you spend so much time with each other.
Training is hard, I would say.
You do a lot of things.
You try to learn new things together.
I'm going to do a webster right now.
I put my foot here.
I jump as hard as I can.
I swing my leg.
The leg is completely behind with all the power.
So that I get the rotation for the flip and then I land.
I'll show you now.
Before I jump, I think that I can do it.
I can do it.
I trained well.
Then I go through my head.
I look at the jump in my head.
I guess I can do it.
I already have the feeling that I can do it myself.
Then I do it too.
I do parkour and free running.
Because I can express myself with it.
It's an indescribable feeling in a movement.
To put your full maximum power into it.
To give everything.
To create a movement that you have previously held for impossible.
For which you have trained for months.
Then you create a day.
It's just an incredible feeling.
But then it's hard to find high.
We pay attention to our environment.
We take care that we don't break anything.
We pay attention to our bodies.
These are all important things in parkour.
And I also think that we have to be able to live as a parkour group in the city.
Because there is only one city in Cologne.
And then everyone has to get to the right place.
Parkour is important to me.
You can always set more goals that you want to achieve.
And that's what I've been up to the last three months.
When I train, I remember how it feels to be like this.
I wouldn't have thought about it now.
Parkour is important to me.
Parkour is important to me.
You
