Thought if I wanted, thought if I wanted to leave
Kept these words in my mouth, shoot up and walk down
No one would see
Slip through the door's crack, never to come back
You follow me, just like a shadow
Subtle but faithful, something so sweet
And you say, don't ever die
You don't feed him, but neither do I
Don't you pretend, nobody cares
This is me here, and you don't feed him
But neither do I, that brings me joy and life
Joy and life
Joy and life
Joy and life
Joy and life
As teenagers, we would go bowling or drive around on our way to Wawa, people watching, doing nothing, doing our silly car dance, like we always like to do.
And as adults, we've always made time, no matter how busy we are, to celebrate each other's birthdays.
And that's how I met Dave. It was at Amanda's birthday and everyone had gotten together to go bowling.
At the time, Dave and Amanda were just friends, still getting to know each other.
But the way she talked about him and the way she smiled at him and the way she looked at him, I knew that she had met her match.
I'm so happy that you came into Amanda's life as well as my own.
I know Amanda and I may not be blood, but I consider her my family, so welcome to our family.
I'm so honored to have shared you in your special day, and I love you both of all my heart.
Neither do I, that brings me joy and life
That brings me joy and life
