ah
This is the first time I've ever seen a woman like this in my life.
Maria Maria is the sun, it's hot, it's sweat, and a tear that flows slowly.
It's a woman who laughs when she has to cry and not live.
The appointment of the Secretary of State of Women's Political Secretary is the following.
Secretary of Women's Political Secretary, Decree of 1st of January, 2011.
The President of the Republic, in the name of the Supreme Court, which confers him to Article 84,
the first of the Constitution, resolves the appointment.
Irene Nicolau-Covins-López, to exercise the position of Secretary of State of Women's Political Secretary of the Republic,
in Brazil, in the name of January 2011, the 19th of Independence, and the 19th of the Republic of a CUSSEF.
We saw in these years a fraternal relationship, a collaboration that allowed us to enter history with the approval of Maria Dapenha.
It is a law that was approved.
So, I would like to say congratulations to our Minister, because he reported to Maria Dapenha,
and I would like to say to you that...
Thank you.
We wish you a success for Irene.
Symbolically, we have already done this.
But here, for us to take a photo, the book of Transition, which we leave, that all the ministries have built,
to leave to Irene our book of Transition.
Our report, which treats the motto of our work with all women for all their rights.
I would like to say here that it is for her to be very proud of what she has done here as Minister,
because we are proud of the work she has done.
In the name of the President, in the name of the President, in the name of the President of the World.
So, we are very proud of the legacy of our friend, Emilia,
who started here to disperse this challenge of building a ministry to address the issues of gender
in such a large country, full of inequalities, as is our Brazil,
but which we are winning all our challenges thanks to God.
Luisa, it is an honor to have you here in this Transmission.
I would like to say good luck to the challenges you will face in front of CEPIR
and for sure we will be together.
For the black women, for our project, for the American women,
for the refugees, to contribute and support the government of the first woman
to present our country, our women, to record here that I am extremely happy
because I recognize here the presence of several movements of the Brazilian women.
Thank you very much for the presence of you.
There is no government that can make sense without a strong social movement.
I know that the government is defending the conquests,
and I know that it is essential for the criticism to be made
that in the process of democracy it is done.
I will control this ministry without allowing the discontinuity of policies
that have been passed here.
We will do a work closely linked with the social movements
to maintain the tradition of our project more and more.
This is a conference year.
Soon we will be preparing the conference
and we will prepare it with my own hands
as it needs and deserves
at the moment of all the Brazilian women in all the municipal and state levels
and finally at the national stage.
We will make a balance of the policies and the plan drawn
and together we will make the decisions
that the process of reflection and debate will consider the most important.
And this for me will be the big milestone
of the 2011 women's policy in the area.
We will definitely advance in this process
in relation to the confrontation
and to defeat us the violence practiced against women.
It is not possible that the autonomy and respect
in integrity and equality
while women are victimized
be it through physical violence, psychological violence,
economic violence, or moral violence.
So welcome all of us to the new stage.
We are not starting anything new.
We are continuing in a moment
that we need to deepen
and in such a special moment
that we have the first woman in Brazil.
Thank you very much.
Thank you very much.
Thank you very much.
Thank you very much.
