I don't know what I'm talking about, but I don't know what I'm talking about, but I don't know what I'm talking about.
Hey, I'm Shoe from Australia. I'm down here on the island of Puerto Rico.
We've been down at this sustainable tree house, just outside of Rincon.
The tree house for me was just a great place to be, just to watch the man in action.
Joe has built this thing with his own two manos. Incredible, incredible effort.
The hooches are pretty special. You don't see them anywhere else.
They're freestanding, prefabricated tree houses, and each one is self-sufficient.
It has solar electricity, solar hot water. It has its own little cook stove.
It has a kitchenette. It has a bathroom with a flush toilet.
What really makes this place special is that when I first bought the land, it was like 70% unforested.
Now it's probably 90% forest. When we planted bamboo, about 30 species of bamboo throughout the valley.
And now it's, they've grown up to maturity. It's almost triple canopy forest.
So it makes it really nice, nice and green, and nice place to get lost in.
My name is Joe O'Grady. I'm from Boston. I've been a SAS client now for four years.
So of course, when the opportunity arose for me to come to Puerto Rico, I was all over it.
The first day we got here, we were down at Sandy Beach. It's a beautiful day.
We hit everything from Maria's down to Trace Palm's, the other side, Wilderness.
It's been good, man. We come down, what, five days? I've had at least 15 surfs, so it's been pretty sick.
Man, ring con if you're willing to search and be adventurous.
Man, you can find those waves with the help of SAS, Global Surf Travel. It's too easy.
Traveling for people can just open up their minds and their hearts to a whole heap of unique experiences.
In surfing as many places, I realise how incredible all the other cultures are around the world.
