This hospital is a good example of how different faiths can work together.
My mission is a mission as I have said of love. It is a place of peace and reconciliation in this
city and I feel I have an obligation toward my people and especially that the people, my people
in Gaza, they are suffering from poverty, they are suffering from oppression and as a Christian,
it is part of my belief to do something to eliminate the suffering of my people in Gaza.
I have been doing this since I was 3 years old and I am trying to find out that I have
an obligation to do something to eliminate the suffering of my people in Gaza and I am trying to
find out that I have an obligation to do something to eliminate the suffering of my people in Gaza.
In our program we accept all the child considered moderate to severe malnourishment. The anemia
is a major problem faced in our program. Approximately more than 80% of the child suffered from anemia.
Some of our children die because they are hungry sometimes. Mother is mother. Mother needs everything.
She needs to be comfortable about her kids. So when we help their kids, we help the mother.
The main victim of all daily life for these is the children and like we see in our burn
unit today, most of the patients are children under 15 years old. So the children whom they
are targeting in physiotherapy, whom they are targeting sometimes in psychosocial support,
whom they are targeting in social unit because we see the victim of the war, the victim of
economic situations, the victim of poor families, the victim of everything, the children they
paid the price for the daily life of our complicated life in Gaza Strip and Palestine in general.
