I'm learning about hawks in my kindergarten class at CSLA.
Me and my dad were exploring in our Tennessee backtrack forest.
The flu found by the red tail of the hawk in the nest.
There's a nest up there.
He looked for about 20 minutes.
I got hungry.
When I was eating lunch, I got a call from my grandfather about a hawk sighting.
The hawk sighting is about 500 feet long.
The hawk sighting is about 500 feet long.
So the next day, we decided to pay him for a visit to see if we could spot the red tailed hawk in the backyard.
We got a chance to sit down with Pippa and ask him about experience with hawks.
Sit down, Jude. Now, what do you want to know about hawks?
So I walked out my back door one day and there was a hawk on the fence right back here.
It was really hungry, but decided I'd try and get as close as I could to see the details.
Get up close and look at all the beauty that that hawk has and the talent of his beak and his eyes.
So I started an inch closer and closer and closer.
And I probably got within, oh, 15 feet before he decided he had enough of me.
And he raised up and flapped his wings twice and just glided right over the top of the fence back over here
and just out towards the front yard.
But it was awesome. It was really cool.
It killed the danger of snakes.
Big snakes.
In the mouth.
Mice, rodents.
And a jackrabbit.
Uh-huh, small mallies.
They go to the gas pit, they go to the factory and a hawk still catches it.
Unfortunately, we were unable to spot our friends.
We ran out of time.
It's like a dead thing. Baby hawk killed it.
It's like a dead turtle.
A small one, a baby one.
Were we going to be able to see any little hawks?
Look.
My dad and I were on a clicker in North Georgia.
We got a call from my mom and brother.
They were playing at the river park.
An inspected low-flying hawk.
Really close to them.
I was so jealous.
Why couldn't we find any hawks?
Then out of nowhere, a flock of four came in over us and perched in a tree.
My dad and I were really excited.
We didn't have the camera with us, so we quietly went over in the woods to get a closer look.
Red-tailed hawks are coming in this area.
I wonder if that's what we spotted.
Do you see if we can spot the red-tailed hawk?
Yes, sir.
What?
It didn't fit in his backyard tree.
Okay.
Alright, here we go.
It's bothering me.
Me and my dad were exploring in the Tennessee River.
And I loved it attached to my butt.
And our selfie, totally.
When this thing was attached to my butt.
Pay him a visit.
When this thing was attached to my butt.
