I learned flying in the Air Force.
I joined the Air Force 1963.
Flying, for me it was more of an adventure.
We can drive on the roads, but flying is absolutely different thing.
I've spent more than 50 years in this aviation business,
and I want to transfer it to my youngsters, whatever I have learned.
It's a very nice atmosphere around here. Discipline and all those things are taught in the club.
In 2012 I came here.
I saw two aircraft training here doing nothing.
Sassna-1, Sassna-150 and 152.
I brought in the stock also and worked on it.
And then at the end of 2012 we started flying here.
Sassna-1, Sassna-150 and 152.
Somehow or other, I don't know the reason as yet.
I don't like to fly with me.
That gives me an incentive to keep pitching them.
My first flight was amazing. It felt like a dream.
Sassna-1, Sassna-150 and 152.
You are sitting on the flight deck and watching the world from above.
I chose this field because I always used to look at my dad being an airline pilot.
And that's the time I decided that I want to do the same.
Since I was a kid I've always had interest in flying and aviation.
And Karachi Air Club is a very professional institute.
They are like well experienced.
I have 16 and then gone, gone, so it has arrived.
When I left Pakistan Air Force College, I joined PIA.
I enjoyed my career as a flight engineer and even as a pilot.
Whatever I've learnt, I should be able to impart it onto somebody else.
By joining hands with Captain Sleiman, Captain Babar.
We joined efforts and ended up bringing the club back again.
When I was searching for the flying club, I saw one of the oldest flying club in the subcontinent.
I think overall experience is excellent.
My first first experience of Air Club was when I was in class 8th or 9th.
Me and my friend, we just went on hitching rides on buses and all.
So we ended up there and we said,
We came to see the plane.
We got a opportunity, I got a joy ride.
3 rupees for a glide.
I mean I used to buy airplanes, not cars, nothing.
When I was looking at the plane, I was shocked that I was boarding.
My first solo was, I was really nervous.
But it made me feel like I was the captain of my own aircraft.
It built a lot of confidence in me and that confidence is growing day by day.
For the first time, I think everybody will be scared.
Everybody will be scared.
I feel like I can do it. That's why I'm here.
