The first time I had spaghetti sauce it was so very delicious and now finally I
have found the secret to making really good sauce. I found it in Vanny's
kitchen where here she's using ground chicken that's right while in the other
pot she's sauteing things like basil, garlic, scallion in another pot. In the
pot with the ground chicken of course she will add this mixture, this secret to
her sauce. Basil as I said, scallion, some garlic and she doesn't measure
anything she just puts it in until it feels right to her which I think is a
perfect way to cook. Cooking is an individual art anyway and then she adds
that to her ground chicken, mushrooms and onions just like that. Add everything
together she mixes it well that's the secret. Mixing everything well. The
ground chicken by the way you can use ground pork or ground beef doesn't
matter whatever you like and then to that she adds some oregano to taste as
usual. Why not? It's going to be your sauce after all. Don't you see that? The
ground chicken and the mushroom and onions and everything is all mixed in
together in a very big pot. Then she adds ragu. Ragu, that's the name of that
thing. She adds ragu to everything that's in that pot. You notice how dry it is?
That's because ground chicken is very dry by the way. She adds the ragu to the
mixture. All of it. As a matter of fact I can tell you this one bottle was simply
not enough because you've got to add enough ragu sauce in there whatever your
brand is I would imagine to cover everything. If you don't have enough in
this case she added some water but even then it was not enough because it was
not covering everything. So she added another bottle of ragu sauce and boy was
that a secret or what? It did the job. It covered everything. But here is the
secret secret. Notice that everything is covered with the sauce and then when I
thought everything was done it is not. She then put the lid on. That's right she
put the lid on and it simmered for about an hour maybe an hour and a half and
then when that was done on top she added some cheese. Parmesan cheese to thicken
the sauce and add that other flavor. Oh my god it was so good. So now you know how
Vanny made her meat sauce, her thick meat sauce. Bye for now from Vanny's Kitchen.
