I'm Max Vollons. I'm a first year, I'll just finish first year studying mechanical engineering at Sheffield Harlem University.
I've always had an interest in engines and race cars and that sort of thing from a young age.
I came to university from college and I've always had cars and motorbikes and that sort of thing.
I did a hobby to do while at university and I heard about a former student so I thought I'd have a wife and see where it took me.
Yeah, all the weather's been brilliant. It started off as a good day. We had a couple of hiccups and just had to finish some screw-to-nearing.
The tilt table eventually got there. We just had to adjust some suspension and get a bit more travel in it.
So you passed the 45 degrees test which is for the fuel spillage and the 60 degrees test which is for stability.
You have to have all four wheels touching the floor of the machine and the rare right wheel wasn't touching.
So you have to adjust and we'll see you again.
I'm Sophie. I study English literature at Sheffield Harlem University and I'm involved in racing.
We've had a busy day. We've been here since about seven.
Had a couple of problems while the guys are busy working so we'll do our best to try and get out on track.
Loads of benefits really. The thing is to run as sort of a team. It's not a society.
It's an actual team and a business within the university so if I go to apply for a job in the automotive industry I've had the experience of going up through the ladder.
Thank you.
