Hi, does your grandma ever send you a bunch of coins in the mail?
Now, why not take those coins and make a delicious meal out of them, you big dummy?
So what you're looking at here is about 70 pounds of pennies that my grandma sent me.
One thing we've learned about collecting all these coins is that you can go to the bank
and you can totally deposit the coins and, you know, it becomes money, but you have to
know how much you're depositing.
And so when I kissed on the pennies, Matt and I found that it's easier just to go to
a coin store, even when they take a cut.
You can have a big budget, you can have a small budget, you can have a coin budget.
This one is plastic, it's from FAO Schwartz.
This one is from Somalia, well these are just stamps.
We're gonna make an awesome meal out of our coin money and I don't know how much that's
gonna be, but I can't wait to find out.
I think we'll get like 40 bucks.
I think we'll get like 40 bucks.
I think we'll get like 40 bucks.
Dude, we're gonna put this thing out if we miss it.
What if like we break the coins back?
Oh no.
So we broke the coin star and when we finally got back to another coin star, a functioning
one, our grand total was $230.
So obviously we weren't expecting that much money from grandma's coins, so we put it towards
a grill and we got a sweet grill and we're gonna do polenta and make a sauce for that
and then we're gonna do pancetta wrapped asparagus.
So we have six cups water, two cups polenta, some salt and we're just whisking this for
five minutes or until it becomes like super thick.
Someone needs to invent a better plastic wrap.
Now we're gonna make the sauce for the polenta, so it's a tomato sauce with bacon and onion.
I'm gonna use pancetta because I already have it for the asparagus.
We gotta start by peeling, seeding and chopping six tomatoes.
So I'm gonna plunge some cored tomatoes into boiling water, take them out and plunge them
into a bowl of ice water and then I'm gonna, you know, take the seeds out, take the skin
off, I'm gonna denude it.
So now we're gonna make the sauce, two tablespoons of olive oil, three slices of pancetta.
Okay, add one large onion sliced thin, whoa, and then I think that like she goes to college
and like, I mean he's clearly older than her, so I think that, you know, it fades out, but
I think that for a while they give it a shot and I think that she'll always look back and
he'll always look back and it was a very important relationship for both of them.
Dirty dancing is the best story, you know it's the best story, mate, you agreed.
Last night when we watched it, now we're gonna add our tomatoes, put the tomatoes on low
heat and add some salt.
I think it's pretty good.
And then I'm gonna skewer it, there we go.
Dude it's gonna be awesome.
It's awesome.
It's gonna be so crispy on the outside, the plain side, and then all gooey on the inside.
Matt's starving, I don't know who that he is.
In a perfect world, we would have gotten girl marks, but life's not perfect, instead
we just got a delicious meal.
You should grab my verse, I knew a bunch of coins in the mail, mail, mail.
