I started playing guitar when I was like 11 years old because my cousin played guitar and I thought it was cool.
The first song I ever learned was Come As You Are.
The second song I ever learned was Enter Sandman by Metallica.
I really like Blink 182 at the time and I still don't.
My name is Nolan. My cousin and I would always like perform a song for a family member's birthday or something like that.
Usually like The Grateful Dead or something.
I just used to listen to like every Beatles album at night on my headphones into the night dissecting the album in my headphones like oh the drums are over there and whatnot.
I took off seven days from work and just let's record an album.
After the drums it was just a total mind fuck. Can I say fuck?
Like literally my fingers hurt so much that I could barely play the song.
I really focus on making the bass more prominent and I think it adds a lot of life to the songs.
So the songs are pretty groovy. You can shake your butt if you want.
Things would get silly during recording. I mean we were silly the whole time.
It was definitely fun. So much fun doing that.
Honestly I don't play live that much but I probably need to and I'm going to.
It's a really tough thing. You can't play at any good venues without having a big fan base.
But you can't have a big fan base without having like music online but you can't record music without making money but you can't make money unless you play live.
So I just spent my own money. I spent savings on it. Don't tell my mom. Mom don't want this part.
Once we have this album done and mastered I really want to get it to somebody who can do something with it.
That's why I think it's good though because I don't have any expectations or any pressure to make a business out of it.
I just wanted to make something good and so I think I accomplished that.
Yeah I think that's it. Just finding like a small label to try to help push it out.
Like poop.
I really don't know why I keep playing. I'm not going to make anybody. I just really like it.
I guess as long as I still have ideas for songs I'll keep doing it.
2, 12 wins call in a patches.
