One, two, three. Head to the side. That's good. Beautiful, beautiful. Very nice.
I'm from Czech Republic. Now we are in Kiev. I've been here over 15 years now.
The shaded area looks like the white area looks like clouds. So it almost could look like flying through.
So just think about that.
My dad used to take pictures and he developed them inside of our small apartment in a bathroom.
So I just remembered to have the red light in the bathroom and we couldn't walk in
because he was developing the black and white pictures and I fell in love with them.
He took lots of pictures of my mom and of us.
I think this was my first inspiration for as far as photography.
I never thought that I would be able to take pictures of people. I actually never thought I would be good at it.
And twist your body even more. Beautiful, that's it. Very nice.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
I think the biggest kick for me, it was actually meeting a friend of mine, Marek Musil.
He's a fashion photographer in Prague and he was traveling in the United States.
And I met him down in Kiev. Well then we met up and connected instantly.
And when I looked at his portfolio and I saw that he was shooting all these celebrities and all these models
and I'm like wow, your portfolio is absolutely amazing.
From that point I guess he looked at my pictures and every single picture I took, he told me what's wrong with the picture.
So he was not the one who actually said oh, it's beautiful.
He was the one who said why the shoelace is untied, why are you doing this and why are you doing this.
He just laid it out for me. He's like the bad stuff.
But at the same time they were so beneficial because I started looking at the picture differently
from different angle, from different perspective, not being just oh, I just want to create a beautiful picture.
I want to create something special, something more.
We're dying, ecstasy, no, but a beat, a bag of bones, driving down the road alone.
When I went to see the Perry Hotel, I thought maybe I could create something totally specific for Perry Hotel.
And this idea that I had, I had actually for a long time.
When I met Tali, she's the makeup artist and her stylist.
We met in Colorado and this conceptual photographer that was doing this workshop,
and the end of it was a lot of artists, plus I wanted to get a lot of artists together.
So for me, collaboration is the best.
I would love to have in Cuba this community of artists that could get together,
that have a certain space where we could meet up and say this is what I created.
Tell me something about that or have any sort of feedback.
Because if you don't get that feedback, then you're just creating over and over same stuff.
For me to have everyone on board, including you, is just the best gift for me.
Well, this was sort of like the dream state.
I kind of want to create something that is not so specific, not the same stuff that I have been doing before.
So this way I wanted to do something dreamy, something more conceptual, something more,
I guess I wanted people to think about the image a little more,
even look at the image for a little bit longer
and find something in that image that even they could see,
not just me, but they could see, and freeze the moment.
That makes me happy as well, and grow, and just keep going.
I think that maybe I would like to say all these artists that when they get discouraged,
just keep going, don't stop, because even if you do get discouraged, then you have that in you.
Keep going, keep creating, and that's it.
I think the best thing for me is to see that other people get inspired as well,
even if they will start doing similar pictures as I did,
or maybe choosing the models that I used, I see that as an inspiration.
I see that as something, I just feel happy when people are very flattering.
The favorite part of this shoot that gives me goosebumps, with the collaboration of people, and seeing everyone so on board, so happy,
we all brainstormed together, and that would make the shoot.
It's not one person, it's not one thing, it's all of us, be in it together.
So everything looks amazing, like the pictures, while you kind of do this to do your body,
and the shape is like this way, you kind of like flying that way, it looks amazing, and I'm super happy with the images.
