I see Lao, a lot of tourists as well from what I discussed with them, Lao we have very
friendly people, the culture is very unique and also of course we have many many nature
side is untouched, there are a lot to explore in Lao, the nature is still very very fresh.
My first business is a restaurant, of course it's not something I dream about but I found
that what I love is now is tourism. I never thought that tourism can be turned into business
when I was young. When I started or proposed to open up the adventure tourism, it's very
difficult because the fact that adventure tourism is something dangerous, ruin the
reputation of Lao tourism. And the reason why I started up the company is I see a big
potential in Laos, we have 21 national parks and most of them is unseen. Every tourist
come to Laos, they said Lao people is very friendly. As tourists many times why they
come to Laos, there's a lot of people said okay they come here, what they love the most
is about the Lao people. Of course it's a part of the culture of Laos, a lot of people
love nature. I try to explain to them that why the tourist coming into their village or
coming to their area. You make sure that they understand the value of it and try to protect.
They keep it, protect it well so that the tourist will be coming back again.
Normally I mean Lao people when you go into the jungle it's not travel. They always thought
it's working. Young people or for anyone if you want to go into the jungle and do camping
it can be misunderstood from police or people around the area and sometimes people arrested.
I mean I doing this because I love it, I want them to see the real Laos. My full name is
Inti Duansawan, the name of my company called Green Discovery. My goal for Green Discovery
is I want to prove that actually tourism or what we're doing, adventure or eco-tourism
that based on the nature base is the way that Laos should be focusing on moving forward.
