I'm a certified public accountant. I own Snohomishin, I own Snohomojo, I own rental buildings. I'm
just kind of a business guy. I've been president of Chamber of Commerce. I've been on the City
Console. I was active in the design and construction of the Aquatic Center. I know my wife is British
Columbia Breaststroke Champion and then she got my son active. He was a high school All-American and
I was committed and that was six years of my life building that Aquatic Center and I was just so
thrilled that Dr. Mester designated me to give the groundbreaking speech. It must be going on six
years or so and it's very uncharacteristic for me because I don't usually go to group sessions and
I'm not an active pay-to-exercise kind of guy but I come here as it is really improved and changed
my life. I'm a weekly guy. Once a week I swim two days a week, I do yoga one day a week and then I
walk five days a week and I'll try to be active. I ride my bike to work frequently but the one thing
that is consistent whereas I'll miss swimming, I'll miss my exercises but it really is a stretch to
miss yoga because before yoga I hurt and now I don't hurt. It's something I never would have
believed it. I just really wouldn't have believed it. I'd have nights when I'd lay there in bed and
it felt like my bones were glass and fractured and since yoga with just the one time a week that I
do it I'm just fine. I don't ache at all. It's wonderful. I go home and chill out. There's a
nice glow that I have after and I typically go back to the office. I've come from the office this
morning. I was at the office at 5.15 in the morning and I'll go back to the office after and I'll
just have a better day. I can't explain why it is but it's true. Oh you're more than welcome. Thank
you and thank you Karen.
