Alright so we're back, Sugarloaf, it's awesome here, I'm so happy to be back.
So we're going to be ripping it up, check it out. Get it on, let's rock.
When I think of which mountains are beast of the east, Sugarloaf truly sets the bar.
It's the largest skiable mountain in Maine, but most of all Sugarloaf excels at creating
such an awesome vibe. It's like a home away from home. That more than anything is what
we're going to try to share with you in this episode of PFFB Season 3.
It's me, the show's PFFB and we're back for episode 3.
There's Matt and G.
And of course we brought along Jake.
Today is unbelievable, this place is awesome.
Really why?
It's the best mountain in Maine, the longest one, the best snow.
Alright so real quick, we're going to rank this hill, this is how you do it. One snowball,
not so good, five snowballs, awesome. For Sugarloaf, how many out of five?
Four and a half man.
Why?
Just because we need a half for like that perfect beautiful heaven day.
It's steep, it's fun, we love it.
Today is unbelievable, this place is awesome, you can't beat it.
Do you love it?
I do, it's worth the drive.
You did a good job at the top of that man.
I do a good job every time.
Yeah, you really do.
Sugarloaf is a huge mountain, hosting over 146 marked trails and lanes, plus three to
three main parks, all located on 921 skiable acres.
There are well over 28 distinct glades, also known as tree skiing, we filmed primarily
snowing as Kent's dog.
This glade area is rough rugged, but it's a load of fun, it really was a good time.
And yes, if you hit a tree, it's going to be bad news, better believe it.
At 4237 feet high, you'll feel like you're on top of the world here at the Loaf.
That's roughly equivalent to stacking 10 of these monsters from Egypt on top of one
another, while at sea level, just to paint the picture.
Just as a snowstorm approach.
We caught up with our good friend, JR, who was stranded up with his crew, and this is
why we wear goggles.
We rode down to the snow cross, which was designed exclusively for the Loaf by a recent
old medal winner in the Winter Olympics.
It was sort of the hardest thing we've done, I think.
A few broken ribs and three weeks later, he was right back at it.
So we linked up with the Maury sisters, there's Jen, she's way too jazzy for beer, apparently,
her sister Alec, who is really a nurse, she can out ski you, out eat you, and save your
life all in a single bow, it's amazing.
You too can come to the Widowmaker and be treated like a king, it's kind of like everybody
knows your name, awesome, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice,
little time zone skater.
I got to get this place four and a half out of the
four and a half out of five.
All of us were extremely tired, especially the ladies.
So we kind of had better ideas in mind.
Bye sugarloaf.
Stanimals.
Let's have a fireside minimal.
Stanimals.
Stanimals.
Watch out.
Here we go.
And here we are.
This ain't too shabby.
Stanimals.
Stanimals.
Stanimals.
