Please remain on the line and an advisor will assist you as soon as possible.
Kind of another way, you can get...
Welcome to Onside, this is Ira talking to you today Mr. Brown.
Oh hi, I was driving my car and when I pulled into a parking garage where it was kind of dark and I can see that the check engine light is eliminated on the dash.
I'm sorry to hear about that sir, I can definitely run a diagnostic test if you'd like to see what's going on.
Okay.
Give me one moment here.
Now I'm still in the parking garage, do you need me to go drive outside?
That's not necessary, but is the vehicle running though?
Yeah.
Alright perfect, I just need to make sure the vehicle is running.
Okay.
Okay, now I am going to put you on a brief fold for about a minute to a minute and a half on the diagnostic test.
Okay.
And you might hear some intones or beeps in the vehicle, you don't want to push any buttons, this is just me returning to the line.
Okay, very good, thank you.
You're welcome, please hold.
Thanks so much for holding patiently.
Okay.
I just successfully run the diagnostic test.
Mr. Brown and I came back with two messages here.
The first one is saying the battery charging system may not be performing as expected, just check for proper voltage from your charge cord.
If the car has no issue charging, there's no need for service and if the vehicle cannot charge, please service at your own convenience.
Okay, now I went to the mall just a little bit ago and they had two charging stations and the first one that I plugged into, I noticed the charging station was reporting it was charging
and they couldn't see that any current was flowing and then I looked at the vehicle and the vehicle says unable to charge.
So I went ahead and disconnected that one and connected the other one and it seemed to charge fine.
So is it possible that that fault got set when I hooked up that other charging port?
Okay, sir.
It could be the cord or it could be the station.
Okay.
All right.
And as far as the second message?
The second message says the vehicle's electric system is not performing as expected and it serves at your own convenience as well, same thing.
Okay.
Are there actual trouble codes associated with that?
There are codes if you want to take those out.
Yeah, let me just write those down so when I communicate with the dealer.
So let me get to a point where I can write that down here.
Sure.
Take your time.
No problem.
Okay.
Go ahead and give me those.
The first one is as a call one echo echo six.
So P1 EE6.
Okay.
And that one is the one that says.
That's the charge cord.
Charge cord issue.
Okay.
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
And then the second one is P like Paul.
Mm hmm.
One.
Okay.
Do you like echo?
Zero zero.
Zero zero.
Okay.
And that one just says electrical system not performed.
That one says vehicle's electric system is not performing as expected.
Okay.
Okay.
Sorry.
Okay.
That's it.
You got it.
You got everything.
Yeah.
Anything else I can help with today then.
So would you advise that I I mean I imagine there's probably nothing wrong except for
the fact that I hooked up that other charging station.
If I drive the car, I mean it looks like it'll get me home and everything.
So the light maybe go out if it runs diagnostics and doesn't see that the problem is reoccurring.
I mean, yeah, it should go out on its own after a while.
There's no issue that you need to take care of.
Okay.
What I would advise is when you get home, try plugging in the charger to see if that
works okay.
Okay.
All right.
Very good.
If it's working okay at home then you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
Okay.
All right.
I'll just make notes on what happened here and then if I do need to go to the dealer
to contact them and will they will they'll be able to pull this info from the car then.
Yeah.
Yes, sir.
When you take it and they'll just do their own diagnostic anyway that'll give them the
same information or you can give them those codes I just gave to you and they can look
them like that up in their system.
Okay.
Okay.
Very good.
Okay.
Anything else I can help with?
No, I think that's it.
All right, Mr. Bond.
You have a great Sunday sir.
Okay.
Thanks for calling on sir.
Okay.
Thank you.
You're welcome.
The call has ended.
Goodbye.
