Alright, nice job! But, you're not done yet, to the U-Wall. Who comes from U-Wall? The Who-Wall!
We are Lifetime. So, she questions, does she have a name? Okay, he says two. She weighs about two pounds.
In the world of birds of prey, the females weigh more, usually, than the babies.
Flying squirrels, rabbits, skunks, raccoons, yeah, maybe black bears, maybe deer.
Now, of course, the guys, it's the only two owls in New England that have dark eyes, but you can see they don't look anything alike.
The barn owl weighs about two pounds, this owl only weighs about three quarters of a pound, the barn owl.
Right. And they sound totally different.
The barn owls are actually endangered in the northeast. There is a chance that there are some nearby.
And related to the young man's question, we had a different kind of habitat.
We used to have a lot more open fields, farmlands, but we're as forested as we've ever been.
And now, if they still don't underneath standing blocks on flocks to scrape it out a little bit, they actually don't feel the rod nest.
So, the barn owls, they're in their own family. They're in the titanidine family, whereas they're on the day.
Chances are, during the night, this is the owl that is in your area, because it does a niche switch with a red tail hog.
Okay. So, here's your grade for now. Try to get us gear tubs up here.
We've got very long gear tubs.
Okay, turn it face your audience. Okay. Now Marsha will do the call, and then you can try it okay.
So Marsha, what do they sound like?
It'll come down a little bit. So, we'll be on the same level. Okay.
And sometimes, maybe back in the woods, you might hear a higher one.
And then maybe the lower one might answer.
All right. Nice job.
If you want to look at the price of the blue chain, and I'm really personal, it might have lived to be 50.
It was an owl at the San Francisco Zoo that I think made it to 50 or 51. That's the oldest one I know of.
Some of you might remember a slaswinter was not a great winter for them. There were many around two winters ago.
Lots of them around in New England. So, it's not an owl you're going to see every year.
But when they do show up, they're most often at the coast. They're at the beach, they're in the dunes, like I hear.
In New England, but occasionally, a herring falcon will harass one.
And Marsha, what do they sound like when they're getting harassed?
I think we should do a group move on that one. Okay. Let's try it, everybody. That's kind of weird.
We moved them alive from a little bit and you shot the bird. So, unfortunately, they didn't bring us.
They have nests in the Arctic. It does snow on them. But the snowy owl has no trouble staying warm.
They have the thickest feathers of any owl. So, even if it's 30, below zero, those owls can stay warm.
He is. And why don't we take care of what's in here?
Okay, what's up? Because both of the owls take care of the baby.
The creation eagle owl. It looks like a great one to owl it does, but it's bigger.
Very good observation because there are no great horn owls in Europe or Asia.
Instead, there's kind of a look-alike or similar cousin, the Eurasian eagle owl.
And so, we're going to finish off with a couple of owls from other parts of the world.
So, there really is an owl that says who. Although, not like...
Have you seen the guy going out of the two owls? The Eurasian eagle owls. And they're actually getting the call right.
They live in places where monkeys are found. And that's a good way to remember one of their many calls.
Try that.
That's just as weird as a snowy owl.
Yeah, this audience is good though. You got an A plus for your voting abilities.
This bird is 8 years old. And if any of you have any friends or relatives or have a chance to go to Central or South American rainforest,
up to about 5000 feet, go out with some local people.

And he's trying to get him out of his neighborhood. And everybody's going.

The brain interprets how they hear the sounds and the difference in the timing.
And they actually look at it as two separate receivers.
And if you're out in the night, come on to the couch and you'll notice that when they'll open this way.
