My name is Christian and I love football and when I come home from school first thing I want to do is play football.
I think it's great and it's what I want to do.
I currently play football from the development on the 19s.
Do my lessons in the morning and train every day with Madison on Wednesdays.
CHAP came in, works for an agency.
He said give you the opportunity to go out to the States and the scholarship.
So we'll be able to get a university degree whilst still continuing our football.
Going to university whilst continuing to play football at a high level and continuing to improve is
balancing the both that will be so hard so whereas if I were to go to America and the States
it's so much easier.
You've got scouts watching you every week, you've got a lot more opportunities, they treat you a lot better.
It's a great opportunity by far, it's definitely the best choice of football for me.
It's just about making the most of every opportunity you're given to be honest.
I think Christian is very determined, he's very single-minded and he's researched it on his own,
unknown to us so therefore that shows his commitment.
This is a test of one, you yourself, two of your relationship and ultimately you know
if your relationship is a strong relationship then she will be supportive of him and she'll be there when he comes back.
She'd been pushing for me to obviously go to uni here and she was really happy when I got my choices
with Coventry and Hertford today.
What I see with America is that if he chooses to go, he'll go and he'll play football
and then he'll get a degree and then he'll come back to the UK and he'll use that degree to get a job.
So I think he's going to become like an amazing footballer, maybe I'm negative, no I don't.
You know if he's happy just to go there and enjoy the experience of it and if that's what he wants
then that's best for him because that's what he wants and that's what he'll enjoy.
It's decent, just got an offer from the States.
I got one from America as well.
From America to where?
New England.
Where's New England?
East of New York.
I'm really proud of you, Danny.
I'm so proud of you, Danny.
I'm really interested in it now then, isn't it?
