I love that first description that I read of Axis Smash, black out the room, and rock the fuck out.
I just thought there was a need for something different in Edmonton.
It's really great when you get to hear things that you like and music that you like too, and make sure you rock it.
So, we're just a group of bands.
I know Chris has like a slow day at work and that's about 50 Facebook messages about a song he wants to do and like, I'm tagged in about like six posts.
Well, you know, there's a lot of DJs out there that you can just go and watch and see the end and listen to more of the show.
It brings more life to them.
The different backgrounds and musical influences for sure bring more life to everything as well.
We talked about we need to mix up new tracks.
It would be fun to be Alan for a night.
It's a problem, babe.
Yeah, he's like the front man.
So, we're kind of covering the spectrum.
Pretty good from the rock and alternative and fancy pop and everything.
I think Chris would definitely want to get a really close dance to this guy's naked.
Kind of like a comfy beat.
Yeah.
It's all about making people dance and cascading with the band.
Call the cops or two guys that I met.
They told me that you just got to remember it's all just dance music.
So, you put whatever genre you want on it, whether it's house, dubstep or whatever.
At the end of the day, it's just dance music.
And if you don't lose sight of that, then you can kind of play whatever and just make sure they're making people out of their time.
Luckily, it checks conversion.
So, they like to dance so you make sure that we have some songs that are in girls' dance.
Hello?
I got to call you back, okay?
Because we're in the middle of an interview actually right now.
You know, I can make fun of your brothers, I don't like you.
Yeah, exactly.
If you're not getting teased or picked on, then we don't like you.
You've ever seen that show Band of Brothers cut us in that exact situation? That BS?
The zombie apocalypse?
Future plans?
Bigger shows.
The bigger shows, yeah. The big shows are always the funnest.
Stage is huge.
Lots of people.
Lots of people, yeah.
It's just a fun time. Everybody's in such a good mood.
It's tough not to have fun at those bigger shows.
So, basically just play all of those and just build our fan base to get our crest packed out to as many people as we can.
I've been to like home studios and stuff. I can do a software now.
Just good, available music is everywhere now.
It's art and I think it should be about art and not about money.
Yeah, I just think it keeps you honest too.
Actually, Al's already started writing songs.
Al is summery. She's also summery.
Spoken words?
Spoken words.
I remember at the last show there was more kind of cleared out at one point and Brett creaked off the side of the stage.
He's off in the dark somewhere.
Clang in the dark? Where's Brett?
Oh, he's in the closet.
I think it's more about if people like things that we keep doing and we're just keeping more of it.
Whatever it is, you know, remixing current tracks.
It's kind of, you know, it's pretty tricky.
Yoko!
Yoko!
We're gonna sit with Bruce here at the long walk while we're in the window.
It's a complete lack of responsibility.
I think that Alan needs to grow up. I think that Alan needs to sit down with himself and have a good discussion about his plans, about where he thinks that he wants to be in this band.
Like you said, he didn't say anything the whole interview. Nothing.
Hey, Alan, what do you have to say about this?
See? Nothing.
Defenses.
Yoko! Alan!
We're taking applications.
