I'm Deborah Spencer, I'm the show director and we're at Design Junction.
My name is Michael Sadoe. I am an independent designer but also the creative director for Design Junction.
We feel it breaks the mould of the traditional trade show. We're in the heart of central London.
We're in a derelict building that hasn't been used for the last ten years.
Really interesting backdrop and it presents design in a much more interesting light.
Design Junction is a new fair but it's very interesting with a lot of young people there.
Many different levels but some are really interesting.
My name is Paul Coxedge and we are at Design Junction.
We're launching The Vamp which is a speaker's friend in a way. It kind of connects to it and it transforms any speaker into a portable Bluetooth speaker.
We've got three floors of design and it's about presenting really interesting world-class international brands in one space that focuses on the trade and consumer audience.
My name is Mimi Lindow and I'm one of the owners of Law Station.
We are a Swedish company and we are actually at Design Junction for the first time.
My name is Samuel Chan. I'm based in London. This week in Design Junction, I'm launching a new friend called Johnny and Joined.
He's an online furniture retail company.
The design concept for Design Junction was to approach it in a way that audited exhibitors and people that come to show visitors as well to come and feel they can spend the whole day here.
The idea behind that really was to almost create a rhythm within the building.
If you think of it like a city, it's almost like a different district.
On the ground floor we have the pop-up shops and flash factories and street food.
It's a little bit more gritty and then on the first floor we move up to more exhibitions, slightly more open spaces.
Then up onto the second floor where we have brands and more exclusive restaurants and bars.
My personal highlights of the show this year are actually the flash factories.
We've got a CNC machine on the ground floor with Michael Warren who's producing unique pieces during the show with a table top CNC machine.
I'm working here in the flash factory at Design Junction and I'm showing GROW CNC, which is the world's first portable full-sized CNC router.
Blue print. We're actually organising 3D printing live on site.
We've got a brick saddle. We're showing the production of brick saddles and Ben Wilson with his donkey bikes as well.
We've got this really strong contrast between craft making and future digital technology.
We've got a really strong lighting section because we've launched Light Junction.
We've actually brought over a whole host of international brands that haven't shown in the UK for many, many years.
My name is Ero Coedisto. I'm a third of the Design and Architecture Studio Class of Coedisto Diwrnod.
At Design Junction we are launching a new collection of wicker lamps.
On top of that, we've got these really strong eateries.
You'll see Jamie Oliver's Barber Coeur, you'll have a soda stream bar on the ground floor, all offering complimentary drinks.
We've designed four new ice cream flavours for Julipo.
The one thing that I think that sets us apart is that we're more than just an exhibition, we're actually a production.
We've put on a proper show that kind of caves us for all areas of design.
There's a story here, so it's quite raw, so I like kind of presenting new in this kind of raw setting.
It's a very interesting stage to take here party. We like to be here.
We have been associated with Design Junction for many years, and we believe this is the right venue, the correct platform for us to launch this exciting new brand.
It's nice.
