six rules for eating right as a runner rule number one go on an empty stomach what oh sometimes
sometimes is key here for an easy workout of one hour or less go without food or drink probably
won't do you any harm i know i get really tired so eat i eat like a teeny bit before i go run i
eat like a honey or peanut butter or just something that'll like give me a little bit of boost before
i do it rule number two keep it simple okay what does that mean uh familiar foods things that you're
used to like don't go out and eat Thai food and then go running if you'd never eat Thai food because
that is a recipe for disaster i just sharded i don't know what that means i tried to fart and
we'll shake him off we don't all live in Moldova we can't all just shit in the woods other rules
low in fat and fiber high in carbs will boost your energy without upsetting your stomach again i
really like to eat peanut butter before i run i'm out of peanut butter that makes me really sad
but honey i also think is really good because it's pretty easy on my system rule number three
time it right time it right what does that mean ah can you tell that i'm doing this on the fly
why am i playing with my hair like this sorry Kentucky kicks ass ah time it right the thing
that i did wrong so each person is different but in general you need to allow your body time to
digest the food before you go run and my hair is stuck for some reason big meals wait a longer time
smaller meals you can wait slightly less like wait 30 minutes or something get that food down
there in the gut rule number four drink up get your water do what your mom says drink your water
something else i do is i have a little bit of greater aid and sometimes i just do like a half
cup of gatorade because it keeps me hydrated and it also has you know all those stuff that helps rule
number five get the balance right this one's complicated all right they're talking about
balancing carbs and proteins and unsaturated fats 55 percent of your daily calories should come
from carbohydrates 25 should come from protein and another 15 to 20 should come from unsaturated
fats i don't know how that works rule number six take out the trash what good rule for a household
good rule for food uh this is basically just don't eat like shit i mean you can have a candy bar
occasionally we all have candy bars i have a stack of candy behind this computer right now
don't judge me um but in general just eat healthy uh take out the trash thing that i'm doing is i'm
trying to drink less i'm cutting down my alcohol consumption a lot um and that's gonna help me
drop some weight to make it easier for running uh my goal is not to lose weight in general but it's
you know you tend to like de-bloat as you can tell a little bit right don't put that in yeah i cut
out drinking i kind of fell off the wagon today though i had some beer so yeah work on your diet
i went to suroka the nearby city yesterday and i did a ton of shopping i bought dried fruits i bought
cured salmon for the protein it's so good it's not pain in the ass to eat though vegetables
tons of vegetables i'm feeling snacky so i have a ton of radishes here because i bought
a kilogram of radishes which is a lot more than you would think it is i bought grapefruits i bought
lettuce i bought all sorts of stuff so yeah i bought a ton of stuff i'm not gonna list it all off
i was going to but then i realized that i don't remember everything i got take control of your
diet and like have fun doing it i actually have a friend who's got a really lovely eating blog
