I learned rosting from my father.
He did not tell me how to rost.
I just like a normal way of living, normal way of playing.
That's little by little that's how I learned from my father.
We are doing this for in San Francisco 45 years.
We opened March 1965 if I'm not mistaken.
Now we have grown up, become a big company, mid-sized company.
I do everything in front of my customers.
I rost in front of my customers.
They come and they watch.
Sometimes they come and they take pictures.
I have nothing to hide.
Whatever I do, it's at the front of the store.
If you have nothing to hide, why should you hide yourself?
If you are doing an honest job, why should you hide yourself?
You should be proud of it.
I am proud of what I do.
My customers are very good, very important, and I pay great attention to take care of them.
Right now I have customers that now their son comes to my store and they come with their
children and they turn around and they tell to their kids, you know, when I was at your
age, my dad used to bring me to this store, buy coffee, now I come and I bring you.
It gives me great pleasure to see second generation coming and the third generation is coming
up.
You know, everybody asked me the same thing and sometimes after they leave I said, I am
not old.
I love what I do.
Why should I retire?
God pushed me, brought me back to what I know and I am glad I took over and I am glad what
I am doing and I am very, very happy what I do.
I am proud of what I do, I am very proud and I enjoy that.
